5. Can You Describe A Challenge You Had to Overcome?

“During one of my first jobs, I didn’t have a very supportive assistant manager. She wasn’t encouraging or helpful. All the employees felt very stressed during their shifts.
The company handed out review evaluations to fill out. Although I didn’t want to cause any problems, I decided to write about how I felt. The assistant manager reviewed the comments and worked to help employees feel more positive.
I learned the importance of being a part of a positive work environment and how much of a difference it can make. I feel it helped me become a better co-worker and leader.”
