“My skill in sales could use some improvement. It’s not that I’m a bad salesperson, but it’s not something that comes naturally, either.

I’ve been working pretty diligently to improve myself in that way. For example, I started reading some books on selling and applying their lessons to my work and personal life. With guidance and practice, I think I can really excel as a salesperson.”

“I’ve always been a really hard worker. At my last job, my manager recognized that and took advantage of it by regularly assigning me tasks way above the scope of my role.
I’m a team player, and I always want to help, but some of these duties were so senior-level that I felt I put the company at risk by performing them. Plus, I was getting really burned out. It was hard for me to admit, but I just couldn’t handle everything my boss was asking of me.
After some careful reflection, I voiced my concerns. My manager was more than understanding. She ended up distributing work more evenly across the team. I learned a valuable lesson about recognizing my own limits and asking for help.”

“I think the foundation of my time management strategy is to be organized, but flexible. For example, I like to make schedules, but also leave time buffers to deal with unexpected issues.
That approach works for me because I thrive on to-do lists and schedules. At the same time, though, life also happens and you need to prepare for that.
